What we treat

Neck, back, shoulder and hand pain

Treatment here is manual therapy first: joint mobilisation and soft tissue work to settle the irritated area, then movements that help it hold. Headaches, jaw pain and desk-work posture problems get the same attention.

  • Neck and headaches

Stiff necks from long days at a screen, and the headaches that follow them. We treat the joints and muscles in your neck rather than working around them.

  • Back and hips

Low back pain that shows up when you stand up, lift something or sit too long. We find which movement is causing it, then load it carefully rather than avoiding it.

  • Shoulders and arms

A shoulder that catches when you reach overhead, or an arm that goes numb at night. We check the shoulder, the neck above it and the way you use both.

  • Hand and wrist

Thumbs that ache from holding a phone, wrists that are sore from typing, and stiffness after a break or a cast. Hands get the same careful, hands-on treatment.

Manual therapy

Priya is a certified manual therapist, so hands-on work is the session itself rather than something added at the end of it.

Joint mobilisation and soft tissue work settle the irritated area, then we load it with movements you can repeat at home.

An hour, one therapist

Sessions run a full hour and Priya sees every patient herself. There are no assistants and no shared appointments.

Sessions are $160, cash pay. We send a superbill after each visit so you can file it for out-of-network reimbursement.

A home program you can keep

You leave with three or four exercises, not twenty. We practise them together in the room so you know what they should feel like.

If something flares up between visits, email and we will change the plan before your next appointment.

What a first visit looks like

  1. 01Step

We work out what is causing it

Not just where it hurts. We look at how you sit, stand and move, and test the joints and muscles around the sore area.

  2. 02Step

    Treatment in the same visit

You are on the table for the rest of the hour, with manual therapy and movement work in the one session rather than split across two.

  3. 03Step

    A plan written down

Three or four movements for home, with what to do when they feel easy and what to do when they do not.

The exercises are short enough to do before work. That is the point of them.

Between visits

A short home program you will actually do

Most people need three or four movements, done in a few minutes a day. We go through them here first, so nothing is guesswork at home. If something flares up between sessions, email and we will change the plan before you come back.

One therapist Priya treats every patient herself, from the first visit to the last.
